We’ve designed high-yield laser print cartridges that produce twice as many prints as typical industry cartridges, which results in 50 percent fewer empty cartridges.

We’re always evaluating our designs to minimize excess materials and packaging. For example, product design engineers worked with packaging engineers to make changes to the design of the Optra S, Se and T cartridges’ packaging, reducing nearly 417 tons of corrugated fiber board, pulp, wood and plastic wrap from their packaging since 2001.
