Service and Repairs

Lexmark's Customer Support Services completes more than 40,000 service calls per year by providing true national coverage for both Australia and New Zealand, via our own qualified service technicians and accredited service partners. This means service by Lexmark is the most cost effective way to keep your printers operational. Our engineers are highly trained, have access to a comprehensive knowledge base of known technical issues and original Lexmark spare parts. This helps them take less time and use only the minimum of parts to diagnose and resolve a problem, keeping your costs low.

Once your warranty coverage ends Lexmark can offer the same high level of service through a maintenance contract or service on a per call basis.


Maintenance Contract

A Lexmark maintenance contract provides service cover on your printer for a 12 month period for a one of fee when you have no warranty or extended warranty cover in place. The service means Lexmark will provide you with helpdesk support and all parts and labour* for any repairs necessary during your period of cover. A maintenance contract eliminates your risk of incurring unexpected expenses to keep the printer operational and will ensure the device performs at it's full potential by the use of Lexmark original parts to maintain original manufacturer standards.

Depending on your printer, the repair services may be delivered on an exchange or on site basis.

Per call service

When you have no warranty or extended warranty cover in place for your printer you have the option of Lexmark expert engineers servicing the device and you simply pay for the time and material used to effect the repair.

The per call rate will include the cost of travel, the technician's time and the materials required to repair the product.

When a product has been repaired by Lexmark on a per-call basis, the work is guaranteed for 30 days. If the product fails within 30 days for the same cause as the original failure, then the second repair will be at no charge to the customer.
